I bought this book prior to visiting Thailand's beaches with my detector. The book was entertaining and quite informative, the author deserves respect for writing up his experiences despite not being a pro detectorist himself.
I am happy with my purchase . Experienced detectorists will recognize many of the things the author hints at. A good snapshot of a detectorists learning curve.
