When the Bangkok Womens Writer’s Group agreed to a book-signing event at Kinokuniya Bookstore in the Emporium at the weekend, little did they realise just how much of a stir they would cause, with large numbers of readers, fans, family and friends making tracks to Sukhumvit to meet the creators of Bangkok Blondes. One of the best-selling titles on the list of publishers Bangkok Books, the collection of short stories about life in Bangkok, all written and edited by the members of the Writer’s Group, drew interested parties from all over the capital.
